Ever been tempted to grab KFC or McDonalds for dinner after your workout?
Thinking you’ve ‘earned’ it after all that blood, sweat, and tears?
This is a situation owner Simone Gosling found herself in and decided to create Good to Be Nude to combat this guilty eating habit.
Situated in the Cochrane gym complex, Good to Be Nude appeals to local businesses and gym-goers who can grab a healthy treat that is tasty and made of gluten free and vegan ingredients.
“I found with such a busy hectic lifestyle, I would go to the gym then end up grabbing a meal that completely undid my results after” Gosling said.
Gosling has partnered with nearby ‘DakDak Café’ which provides fresh daily produce to create this little health bar that prides itself on promoting the positives of how “it’s good to be fit and it’s good to be you as you are”.
A range of coffees, super smoothies, salads, soups, mueslis, wraps and breakfast items are available which are portion controlled and beneficial to your health.
Gosling’s favourite type of product to sell is the Super Smoothie as she “loves seeing people walk away with food they wouldn’t normally eat” as her accessible location encourages customers to try new foods that complement their workout.
Good to Be Nude discount prices after 4.30pm, making it even easier for customers to take home a healthy meal at the end of the day.
With its eccentric décor and lively gym atmosphere, you won’t be able to resist grabbing a quick, convenient meal to pump up before you hit the gym or to wind down after your workout.
