The Tradesman is a fresh, sleek and modern cafe set in industrial Moorabbin that boasts a minimalist feel . Open for five months, The Tradesman’s owner and head chef Raman now has his eyes set firmly on the future.
Serving up something for everyone, The Tradesman offers delectable all-day breakfast and lunch options – such as the ‘Acai berry smoothie bowl with coconut, fresh seasonal fruit and chia seeds’– that you would expect to see in any up-market cafe in the CBD.
It also offers a unique approach with turmeric coffee and green tea matcha powder to tick the fresh and different box for the industrial area.
Raman seeks to keep all parts of the business local, with meat sourced from local farmers and butchers, local produce that is in season, their dairy and eggs local, employing local staff and stocking local favourite sauce ‘Changz.’
He comments, that supporting local business’s is very important to him.
The Tradesman is unique, in that it calls itself family-friendly, dog-friendly even, and open to all. Raman comments that what keeps costumers coming back for more, is the tailored feel to the cafe, and how it offers up something for everyone.
With plans to gain a liquor licence to expand what The Tradesman offers, Raman is always ‘changing his future plans to what customers want.’ The Tradesman is definitely a place to check out and keep an eye on in the future.
